Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Grease one deep 11x13 inch casserole dish.
  2. Brown sausage and onion and drain.
  3. Add spaghetti sauce, spices and water and simmer until thick.
  4. Toss cooked and cooled spaghetti with butter, eggs, parmesan and half of the mozzarella until well mixed.
  5. Spoon spaghetti and cheese mixture into the greased casserole dish and press down.
  6. Cover evenly with a layer of cottage cheese.
  7. Spoon sauce on top.
  8. When smooth, poke holes with a wooden spoon handle randomly over the entire surface.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes at 350.
  10. Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  11. Return to oven and bake 15 minutes longer or until golden and bubbly.
  12. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
