Soy-Sherry Marinade for Barbecued Pork

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 -2 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sherry wine
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Rub pork strips with 1 tsp salt and 2 tsp sugar, let stand 30 minutes.
  2. Crush garlic and mince scallion, combine with soy sauce sherry and 1 Tbls honey.
  3. Add to pork strips and let stand 30 minutes more, turning frequently.
  4. Drain, discarding marinade.
  5. Combine remaining honey and sugar, brush over meat and roast.
