Southern-style Honey Rice

Ingredients:

  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp ginger

Directions:

  1. Gently stir together rice and peanuts; set aside and keep warm.
  2. Put butter and honey in a heavy saucepan, cook over low heat just until butter has melted.
  3. Stir in the cinnamon and ginger, beating out any lumps.
  4. Pour over rice, and mix together thoroughly.
  5. Serve hot.
