Sausage Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Slice off tops from peppers or cut in half.
  3. Scrape out the centers to remove seeds and membranes.
  4. Combine all remaining ingredients except green onion in a medium bowl.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Evenly stuff peppers with sausage mixture.
  7. Place in a lightly greased deep 3 quart casserole dish.
  8. Bake; covered for 20 minutes.
  9. Uncover; bake 5 to 10 minutes more or until peppers are fork tender and filling is set.
  10. Garnish with sliced green onion.
  11. Serve hot.
  12. Refrigerate any leftovers.
