Roasted Pecan Apple Salad

  1. Preheat oven to250
  2. Bring corn syrup, butter, water, and salt to boil
  3. Add pecans and stir a few minutes
  4. Spread on well greased cookie sheet
  5. Bake for an hour and stir every ten minutes.
  6. Slice apples thin and length wise.
  7. Hint: when sliced place them in a bowl with cold water and cyder vinegar, this will prevent them from browning.
  8. On individual plates place a nice big leaf of the bib lettuce. Then place the salad mixed with dressing on top. Place the thinly slice apple in a radial circle and sprinkle your roased pecans and blue cheese.
