Ingredients:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 d C. Brush a 23 cm pie dish lightly with oil. Combine rice and water in a large pan; bring to boil, cover, lower heat and simmer 25 minutes, or till water is absorbed. Transfer rice to a bowl, cool for 5 minutes.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, except paprika, to rice. Press into prepared dish; sprinkle with paprika. Bake for 50 minutes. Remove from oven and leave for 5 minutes before serving, or cool and refrigerate if serving cold. Serve hot with steamed vegetables or cold with a salad. Garnish with herbs, if desired.
  3. Fat per serve: 5 grams.
