Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup. brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup. shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup. sour milk
  • 2 cup. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions:

  1. Mix in order given-Pour into greased 9 x 13 x 2 or 2 8 inch square pans.
  2. Top with 1/2 cup white sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
  3. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
