Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup oleo
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups flour , sifted
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups rhubarb, chopped
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Mix together in this order :.
  2. Brown sugar,oleo, egg, buttermilk, flour, soda, vanilla & salt.
  3. Fold in the rhubarb
  4. Pour into a greased 9 X 13 pan.
  5. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the batter.
  6. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
