  1. In a deep salad bowl layer lettuce and onion. Sprinkle with sugar. Continue layering bacon, peas, and cheese. Then spread the mayo over the top, smoothing to the sides to seal it all together. Cover and put in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Toss before serving. Enjoy with most any meal!
