Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook onion in butter till tender but not brown. Cook potatoes in boiling salted water, till tender, about 10 minutes; drain and mash. Beat in cooked onion and cheese.
  2. Beat together egg yolks, milk and salt; blend into potato mixture. Fold in beaten egg whites.
  3. Turn into a 2 quart casserole. Arrange sausage links over potato mixture. Bake uncovered, at 375 till set, about 45 minutes.
