  1. Cook potatoes, drain and rinse, drain again. In a separate bowl, stir together soup, sour cream, cream cheese, and butter. Stir in 1/4 c. of the cheese, 3 T. of green onions, milk, garlic salt, and pepper. Stir in the cooked potatoes and transfer mixture to baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until heated through. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Let stand for about 5 minutes until cheese has melted. Sprinkle with remaining green onions.
