Ingredients:

  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 6 cups milk
  • 3 -4 medium potatoes, in chunks

Directions:

  1. Combine butter, flour, salt and pepper, cook over low heat until smooth.
  2. Add milk, potatoes, onion and celery, cook until potatoes are tender.
  3. Top with grated cheddar cheese and serve.
