Ingredients:

  • 2 large bananas
  • 3/4 tbsp cumin
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper , to taste
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup beer (optional)

Directions:

  1. First combine the butter, the pepper and salt with the cumin. Now rub the mixture into both sides of the meat.
  2. Now saute the bacon until some of the fat has rendered. remove then drain.
  3. Peel the bananas and cut into 1 and 1/4 inch chunks.
  4. Place the bananas on a dish & sprinkle with lemon juice. Cut the bacon strips into lengths just long enough to wrap around each banana slice.
  5. Next place the bananas on the skewers, threading it through where bacon slice overlaps. Place pork chops on a heated grill, for at least 15 minutes turning once.
  6. Finally, turn the grill down to medium, adding the bacon and bananas; grill for another 10 minutes, turning both of the meat and the bananas. For extra flavor, baste with beer, while the meat cooks.
