Ingredients:

  • 1 large onion
  • 4 large pork chops
  • 1 large cooking apple
  • 250 ml cider

Directions:

  1. Peel and chop the onion.
  2. Put the onion in the bottom of a large casserole.
  3. Put the chops on the top.
  4. Peel the apple, discarding the seeds and core.
  5. Slice the apple and spread over the chops.
  6. Add the cider.
  7. Put the lid on the casserole.
  8. Cook for two hours at 150°F, 300°F, Gas mark 2.
  9. Serve with rice and salad or potatoes and green vegetable.
