Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Set oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Line 16 muffin tins with paper liners.
  3. In a bowl, cream butter, sugar and orange rind (about 4 minutes) until fluffy.
  4. Add in eggs; beat well until combined.
  5. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
  6. Add to creamed mixture alternately with half and half cream, beating well after each addition.
  7. Add in poppy seeds; mix to combine.
  8. Add/ mix in nuts and raisins.
  9. Divide/spoon the batter about three-quarters full into muffin tins.
  10. Bake for about 20 minutes.
