Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 2/3 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup pecans, chopped (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease and flour a 9x13 cake pan.
  3. Mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, crushed pineapple, eggs, vanilla, and pecans (if using) together.
  4. Pour into prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Cool on wire rack.
  7. Frost with cream cheese frosting.
