Ingredients:

  • 114 g butter
  • 1 1/4 cup plain flour , 1 tsp baking pwd , 1/2 tsp salt - sifted
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 litre eggs
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup icing sugar , sifted
  • topping
  • fresh blackberreis ( or strawberries )

Directions:

  1. Pre heat oven at 180 deg C .
  2. Grease a 9 inch square pan .
  3. Beat the sugar and butter for 5 mins until softer .
  4. Add the eggs and beat until well mixed .
  5. Add the buttermilk and beat for 1 min .
  6. Add the sifted ing. and mix well .
  7. Fold in the chocolate chunks .
  8. Bake for 40 mins .
  9. Cool and remove from pan .
  10. .............................................
  11. Beat the icing ing. for 5 to 6 mins until creamy .
  12. Spread on the cake .
  13. Arrange the berries on top and chill for 1 hour before serving .
