Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1-1/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Cream together wet ingredients. Add dry ingredients. Shape into ball and roll in additional sugar. Press with fork to make a cross. Bake at 375 for 6-10 minutes.
