Ingredients:

  • 1 (14 oz) can peaches, drained
  • 1 (14 oz) can pears, drained
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup champagne or 2/3 cup sparkling white wine

Directions:

  1. Puree peaches and pears.
  2. Combine sugar and wine in a saucepan; bring to simmer.
  3. Simmer until sugar dissolves.
  4. Stir in pureed fruit.
  5. Pour into a freezerproof container; cover.
  6. Freeze for 3 hours, whisking every 30 minutes to break up crystals.
  7. Freeze for 2 hours longer or until firm.
