Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Combined appls sugar and water in a large pot simme 20 minutes drainwater from apples add cinnamon and stir well Heat oil in skillet while preparing pies.Put scoop filling on one side of each pastry round fold over use tines of fork to crimp edges fry in batches till brown 3- minutes per side
  2. Lift from skillet with tongs drain on paper towels dust with powdered sugar
  3. Makes 8 servings
