Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Prepare my marinara sauce (in advance or fresh depending on how much time you have)
  2. Take a good quality sausage, sliced thinly. I used chicken pepperoni as I dont eat pig products
  3. Prepare your pasta as per the direction on the pack. If fresh, very little time will be required, so do this at the end.
  4. Drain the pasta once done and add extra virgin olive oil while hot and toss
  5. Use no more than two cups of sauce and add your very thinly sliced sausage into it and warm it through
  6. Add in the pasta and mix thouroughly
  7. This should serve 6 helpings (preferable in white bowls - the colur contrast is beautiful)
  8. Shave over some parmesan cheese and sprinkle a few basil leaves
  9. Your starter is ready. Serve it piping hot
