Ingredients:

  • 1 medium onion, shredded
  • 1 tbsp crisco
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves (more if you like the taste)

Directions:

  1. Put all together in a large pot.
  2. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
