Old Fashioned Ambrosia Fruit Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1, number 2 1/2 can of fruit cocktail
  • 1, 6.5 oz can crushed pineapple
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 pint heavy cream
  • sugar to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

  1. Drain fruits in colander and reserve juices.
  2. Add marshmallows to fruits
  3. Chill for 3 hours
  4. Whip cream cheese, add about 1/3 cup of reserved fruit juices.
  5. Fold into fruit mixture.
  6. Whip cream add a small amount of sugar to taste
  7. Fold into fruits with nuts.
  8. Chill overnight
