Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp skim milk
  • 1/4 stick butter

Directions:

  1. Pour hot water over oats and set aside to cool.
  2. Combine the remaining ingredients. Except the 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tbs milk, 1/4 stick butter.
  3. Poor into oat mixture.
  4. Combine and then poor into a greased 8x13 pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 min.
  6. Combine in a small sauce pan 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tbs milk 1/4 stick butter.Warm on stove until butter melts.
  7. Just before cake come from oven,bring to a rolling boil. Spread over the top of cake while both are hot.
