Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Thoroughly combine sugar, vinegar and spices, stirring to dissolve sugar.
  2. Pour over pickle slices in pickle jar.
  3. Top up as necessary with remaining pickle juice.
  4. Cover, and allow to set overnight.
  5. Drain and serve.
  6. Note: You can make this as sweet as you want.
  7. I like about 1-1/2 cups of sugar.
  8. Nell liked to use all 3 cups.
