My Mil's Coleslaw

Ingredients:

  • 4 -5 lbs cabbage
  • 2 large carrots
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4-1/3 cup white vinegar
  • mayonnaise (just enough to hold ingredients together)

Directions:

  1. In a food processor, chop cabbage, carrots, peppers and onion.
  2. Chop them ONE-AT-A-TIME- not all together.
  3. Put into a large bowl and add remaining ingredients.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Best prepared the day before you plan to serve to allow flavors to blend and juice to form.
