Ingredients:

  • 1 pint water
  • jest and juice of 1 lemon
  • jest of 1 orange
  • 3-4 cloves
  • grape or pear juice instead of apple
  • different mixture of spices
  • short cut
  • use prepared mulled wine bags instead of mixing spices and jest

Directions:

  1. Mix the apple and lemon juices and the water
  2. Add the jest, cloves and spices
  3. Bring to the boil and simmer for 3-4 minutes
  4. Pour into jug and serve
  5. ALTERNATIVE METHOD
  6. Boil the juices, jest, cloves and spices in jug in microwave and the water separately in kettle and mix afterwards
