Ingredients:

  • 1 (28 oz) can baked beans , bush's original
  • 1 cup honey barbeque sauce (i use cattlemansgold honey barbeque)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter (optional)
  • 1 small onion, chopped (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Chop up the onion finely and saute in the butter, until translucent. Set the side.
  3. Open partially and drain most of the liquid out of the can of beans.
  4. Pour into a baking dish. Add onions, barbeque sauce and brown sugar and mix well.
  5. Bake, uncovered for 40 minutes.
  6. Serve warm.
