Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 6 tbsp salad oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups finely chopped walnuts
  • 2 cups finely chopped candied fruit (chop more than it is when you buy it)
  • 2 cups raisins
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Measure and mix all ingredients together.
  3. Pour into 4 lg loaf pans.
  4. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes.
  5. Can be eaten warm from the oven or saved for special times or the holidays.
