Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan, sauté the onion in butter until tender.
  2. Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
  3. Cook, stirring constantly until smooth and bubbly.
  4. Add broth and milk. Heat but do not boil.
  5. Stir in broccoli.
  6. Heat through.
  7. Stir in cheese.
  8. Stir until cheese is mostly melted.
  9. Do not boil.
  10. Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream in the center.
  11. Serve additional shredded cheese if desired.
