Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rice
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp corn oil
  • 2 slices of onions
  • 1/2 tsp of salt

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in a shallow pot. Add rice and onion to hot oil until the rice is browned.
  2. Add tomato sauce and stir until tomato sauce completely covers rice.
  3. Add hot water and salt. Set on low heat and steam until rice is soft.
