  1. Bring the water to a boil. Mix the oats in the water and lower heat to a simmer. Cook the oats for 30 minutes. When done, divide the oats between two bowls.
  2. Now come the fun. All of this is to taste . I usually add a good pat of butter, a little bigger portion of cream cheese than butter, brown sugar to taste, LOTS of cinnamon and a teaspoon of vanilla. Mix it all up, and wolf it down cuz it's just that good!!!
