Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. In mixing bowl combine flour, oats, baking powder, sugar, and salt
  3. Blend the butter in at lowest speed until it is in pea sized pieces
  4. In a bowl combine buttermilk, eggs and maple syrup
  5. Add quickly to flour mixture
  6. Mix till just blended
  7. Dump onto floured surface
  8. Roll the dough 1in. thick, you should see lumps of butter in the dough
  9. Cut in 3in. rounds
  10. Brush with egg wash
  11. Bake 25 min.
  12. Mix glaze ingredients
  13. When scones are cool drizzle with glaze
