Lemon Butter Sauce for Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a small sauce pan Cook over med.
  2. Heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil.
  3. Remove from heat, stir and cool slightly.
  4. Serve on cake.
