Grilled Cajun Chicken Salad

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in small skillet over medium heat then stir in sugar and ground red pepper.
  2. Blend well then stir in nuts to coat.
  3. Cook and stir over medium heat 45 minutes or until nuts are lightly toasted.
  4. Remove from heat then cool completely.
  5. Heat grill then sprinkle seasoning over chicken.
  6. When ready to grill place chicken breast and sausage on gas grill over medium heat.
  7. Turn chicken and sausage frequently.
  8. Cut chicken into strips and sausage into 1/2 slices. Line 6 salad plates with greens and red bell pepper strips then arrange chicken and sausage on top.
  9. Sprinkle with spiced nuts and serve with dressing drizzled over the top.
