Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tsp corn syrup
  • 5 tsp cocoa
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients, boil until soft ball stage.
  2. Remove from heat, then add butter and peanut butter.
  3. Stir around a few times and let cool slightly.
  4. Then add vanilla.
  5. Beat it and pour out onto buttered dish, or parchment covered dish. (Grandmother always used an oval meat serving dish, I tend to use a small rectangular pan. This makes for evenly sized pieces.)
  6. Cool, and cut into squares.
