Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 3 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven.
  2. Mix all ingredients, softening the butter and adding the flour last.
  3. If necessary, place in the freezer for 10 minute.
  4. Roll into 1 balls and then roll in sugar.
  5. Place on a greased cookie sheet (only 9 per pan) and bake for 7-8 minutes.
