Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups pumpkin , level
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 (6 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp milk

Directions:

  1. Mix eggs with sugar, then add all other ingredients.
  2. Put in a greased bar pan.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
  4. Check with fork.
  5. For frosting, if desired, beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla and milk until soft.
  6. Add powdered sugar until correct consistency to spread.
