Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup oil (1 that does not have a strong fragrance)
  • 1 slice fresh ginger , thin (you could substitute a couple of drops of a fragrant essential oil)

Directions:

  1. Put the oil in a small sauce pot and add the thin slice of ginger.
  2. Warm over low- until the fragrance of the ginger is brought out- DON'T FRY the ginger, though.
  3. Allow the oil to cool to room temperature or slightly warm.
  4. Remove slice of ginger.
  5. Add in the sugar and mix together.
  6. Use this scrub on your rough areas- if you want something less abrasive, substitute a finer grade of sugar.
