Ingredients:

  • 3 -4 tbsp ground coffee (i find the instant stuff works quite well because the granules are quite chunky, but any will do)
  • 3 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar (optional, if you don'tsp have any just use white sugar, it doesn'tsp make much difference!) (optional)
  • oil (whichever you like, experiment
  • essential oil (optional)

Directions:

  1. Combine the coffee and sugar together in a small bowl.
  2. Add enough oil until the scrub forms a consistency that suits you (i find that it works best when it's more of a liquidy paste).
  3. You can experiment with a couple of drops of your chosen essential oils to create your own unique scent. A couple of suggestions are lavender, peppermint or cinnamon. You don't need to add any if you don't want to.
  4. *IDEA - if you'd like to make it a mocha scrub, try adding in a tablespoon of cocoa powder in step one.
