Flour Tortillas

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 4 taspoons baking powder
  • 2 tbsp veggie oil
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients together well
  2. Add oil and part of the water, mixing well again.
  3. Add more water a bit at a time to make a soft dough.
  4. Knead for about 5 minutes.
  5. Tear off a piece of dough about the size of a golf ball. roll it up and put it in to the bowl.
  6. Once you have it all in balls you need to roll it out.
  7. I roll them out really thin and gently place them into hot oil.
  8. These only take a couple of minutes to cook. They bubble up on the top the edges start to trun white.
  9. Flip it over wait a minute and there you are.
  10. I place them on card board to drain, then into a bowl to serve.
