Ingredients:

  1. In a good mixing bowl, preferrably glass, mix together the grated cucumber, yogurt, cumin, clove and red chilli powder.
  2. Cover with a clear plastic wrap to seal out any foreign smell
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour and serve chilled with simple dishes such as dhaal or garlic naan
  4. You will find this raita to be similar to tzaziki used for gyros, however it is a indo-fijian inspired traditional dish
