Farmhand Flax Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cups butter
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 1/3 cups flax seeds
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 3 cups oatmeal

Directions:

  1. Pre heat oven 350*F.
  2. In bowl cream butter, sugars, and flax seed.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs and vanilla, combine with flax mixture.
  4. Sift flour and soda.
  5. Mix in oatmeal and combine other ingredients.
  6. Form dough into 1 1/2 inch round logs.
  7. Place in freezer to chill.
  8. Place cookies on baking sheet about 2 inches between cookies.
  9. Bake 13-15 minutes.
