Ethel Sanderson’s Homemade Salami

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp morton's tender quick salt

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients.
  2. Divide into two rolls.
  3. Wrap in foil, and tie ends with string.
  4. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  5. Put in pan, cover with water, and bring to a boil, and boil for 1 hour.
  6. Take out and punch holes in foil.
  7. Let drain.
  8. Rewrap and refrigerate.
  9. Slice and serve.
