Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 oz) can solid pack pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp clove
  • 1 2/3 cups evaporated milk
  • 1 (18 oz) box yellow cake mix

Directions:

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 13 x 9 baking pan.
  3. In a medium-size bowl, mix together the eggs, pumpkin, sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and evaporated milk.
  4. Pour into a prepared baking pan.
  5. Sift the cake mix powder evenly over the pumpkin mixture (do not mix).
  6. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix; sprinkle with nuts.
  7. Bake for 40-50 mins, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
