EASY Jam & Oat Bars

Ingredients:

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 1/2 cups quick oats
  • 12 oz preserves or 12 oz jam
  • 1 tbsp water

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Greased a 13 x9x3 pan.
  3. Melt the butter.
  4. In large bowl,combine oats and cake mix.
  5. Stir in the butter until crumbly.
  6. Pour half of mixture (about 3 cups) into pan.
  7. Firmly,press into pan covering bottom.
  8. Combine jam and water;spoon over mixture in pan,spreading evenly.
  9. Cover with remaining crumb mixture,press firmly to even.
  10. Bake 20 minutes-top should be very light brown.
  11. Let cool well before cutting into bars.
  12. And enjoy!
