Easy Homemade Cream of Spinach Soup

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan combine water and spinach.
  2. Cook till tender; do not drain.
  3. In a large saucepan melt the butter on medium low heat.
  4. Stir in flour until smooth.
  5. Whisk in hot milk and bouillon.
  6. Cook until beginning to thicken, then add spinach mixture.
  7. Season to taste.
  8. I sometimes add allspice instead of the garlic in the winter months.
