Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Put the beans and onions in the saucepan with the boiling water.
  2. Cook over medium heat until they are cooked to your desired degree of tenderness.
  3. Drain well, but reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid.
  4. Return beans to pan and add the remaining ingredients including the reserved liquid to the beans.
  5. Stir well until cheese melts.
  6. Serve hot.
