Ingredients:

  • 12 eggs
  • papricka

Directions:

  1. Boil eggs,
  2. Cool and peel eggs.
  3. Carefully slice eggs, lengthwise, into equal halfs.
  4. Place cooked yolk from all eggs into mixing bowl.
  5. Place egg halves on tray, yolk holes up. Set aside.
  6. Mash yolk.
  7. Add salad dressing to desired consistency (usually somewhat like peanut butter).
  8. Add Salt and Pepper to taste (can be left out if desired).
  9. Add 1-2 tablespoons sweet relish.
  10. Blend yolk mixture by hand.
  11. Place approx. one tablespoon of yolk mixture in each Egg half.
  12. I prefer to use a cake decorator for this because it gives you a nicer looking presentation.
  13. Lightly sprinkle finished Eggs with papricka.
  14. When I have to tranport these deliscious morsels, I'll normally insert a coloured toothpick into each. It provides a decorative touch; ease of pick-up for hungry fingers; and keeps the plastic wrap from squishing the yolk mixture!
