Deep-Fried Chicken Liver

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken liver , cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 6 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sherry wine
  • 1/2 tsp ground chinese flower pepper (purchase in asian market)

Directions:

  1. Mix beaten eggs with flour, salt and sherry.
  2. Dip chicken livers into batter.
  3. Heat oil in pan until hot.
  4. Deep fry sliced livers until golden brown.
  5. Sprinkle ground chinese flower pepper on livers before serving.
  6. Serve hot or cold.
